Paul Dixon

In this moody black & white piece focusing on world-renowned freestyle skier Jesper Tjader, Paul departs from the clichéd blue sky and slow-mo skiing shots and delivers something different, dramatic and brooding. With a focus on sound design rather than score, and utilising an up-close and personal handheld feel as opposed to epic cinematic wide-shots, we get right into the mix; we feel the snow, the cold breath, the floodlights and above all, the rush as we hit the jumps. A film that utilises all of the tools at Paul’s disposal including 3 RED Epics, 2 RED Scarletts, a drone, various rigs, and a multitude of GoPro’s and Blackmagic pocket cameras, it is a sensory experience not to be missed.
